Resolve missing estimate items and prices

Use estimate notices to identify unpriced rows, unassigned constructions, unresolved finish areas and excluded scope.

For missing estimate items or prices, start with Open issues → See what they are and Gaps in this estimate. Distinguish a missing price from work the calculation could not measure or did not include.

Notice or visible state Next action
A row has Set price or is reported without a price Check the exact finished element and unit; supply a manual rate or request a guide.
Walls, Slabs or Columns have no construction assigned Assign the intended construction/type in the model, save it, then calculate again. The affected elements are outside the current total.
A row or section is dimmed and unchecked Check whether exclusion was deliberate. Turn In on if it should count.
Room finish not configured or an assumed finish row Assign actual Room finish materials if detailed pricing is required; review Finishes room by room and recalculate.
Wall-finish area unresolved, overlapping Rooms or unmeasured attic ceiling Resolve the reported geometry or finish definition. Review which areas the current calculation excludes; do not invent a rate to cover an unmeasured quantity.
Façade or other scope is reported as not priced Decide which additional work your estimate needs. Add a described manual line only for missing scope, without duplicating existing finished rates.
unverified norm or waste figure needs review Check the quantity assumption rather than treating it as a sourced project measurement.

After an edit to the model, save it and calculate again. After a price or inclusion change, inspect the updated rows and summary. Recheck all remaining notices; one successful save does not close unrelated gaps.

A total with unpriced lines is incomplete. Excluding those rows hides them from the total but does not establish their cost. Similarly, applying Contingency cannot demonstrate that missing scope has been priced.

When the result is useful for a particular discussion, save a named version and explain its assumptions and gaps to the reader. That snapshot preserves those limitations along with the figures.
