Enter a rate for the complete element described by the row, per displayed Unit, in the estimate's pricing currency. Show totals in may display another currency; it does not change the currency of the rate you supply.
Save one rate
- Calculate for the relevant market. Find the row and choose Set price, or click its existing price.
- Enter Price per unit. Use your own current rate and the row's unit: for example, a Foundation rate is per m³ of finished construction, while a Window rate is per complete item supplied and installed.
- Select Save. Check that the price, subtotal and project price source appear. Cancel closes the editor without saving the draft. Find a guide is the separate lookup action.
Include the necessary materials, work, delivery and other costs already covered by your quoted finished-element rate. Do not add those components again as manual lines. Zero is accepted as an explicit rate, so use it only when that is your intended assumption.
If Save reports a region-code error after Whole country, the current manual-price path needs a named Region. Select the project's applicable region and calculate again before entering the rate. Do not choose an unrelated location merely to clear the error.
Load a price sheet
- Select Price sheet to download the CSV generated for this estimate.
- Fill its
unit_pricecolumn using the pricing currency. Keepcost_item_key,signature,resource_typeandunitunchanged; they identify the exact rows.quantityhelps you read the sheet. - Select Load prices and choose the filled CSV. Check the message reporting prices applied and rows skipped, then inspect the updated table.
Blank prices are not new rates. Rows with unknown identities, incompatible units, invalid values or malformed data can be skipped. Start from a new export after model or market changes; a CSV from a different project or currency is not a safe substitute.
These rates belong to this project and override regional guide prices for its matching rows. They do not edit the model's quantities. Use manual lines for additional work that needs its own description and quantity.
