Find and use guide prices

Review a missing-price plan, request guide rates and ranges, and check a row guide before accepting it.

Use guide prices to complete indicative rates for the project's selected market. Check the finished element, unit and scope before relying on a guide.

  1. Calculate the saved model for the correct country and region.
  2. Select Find guide prices. Dravit first shows how many lines need pricing. It reuses usable regional prices and requests the missing or outdated entries needed by this project.
  3. Review the count and any available quota information. Select Price N lines to run that plan, or Cancel. Confirming uses the price-lookup allowance; merely opening the plan does not run it.
  4. Watch the progress and updated rows. Inspect Source, Range, any guide and the remaining missing prices. Use a project-specific manual rate when you have one.

The estimate workspace with the guide-price plan awaiting confirmation.
This example's plan counts the missing lines in this model. The count is not a setting to copy.

Fill missing ranges plans the addition of ranges to eligible cached guide prices that lack them. It preserves their existing central rates. Review and confirm this plan in the same way.

For one row, choose Set price or click its existing price, then Find a guide. That button starts a lookup for the row; it does not have the batch confirmation step. A usable result fills a proposed rate. Review it and select Save to use it, or Cancel to leave the row unchanged. A displayed guide can also be accepted into the price editor before saving.

A guide is an indicative rate for the finished element in the row's unit, including applicable supply and installation or construction work. It is not a quotation from a contractor. Components used to establish that rate are not additional rows to add again. Missing or rejected results remain unpriced; investigate missing items instead of treating zero as their cost.
