Close the access path you no longer want to provide. Public viewing, account membership and estimate-version links are separate.
| Your role and task | Action | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Owner: close the public model link | Project settings and sharing → Access → Public link → Close access. | Public state becomes Closed; the public project URL is unavailable. |
| Owner: remove a collaborator | Access → Remove beside that member. | The account loses project membership. Check that its row disappears. |
| Owner: reduce a collaborator's editing rights | Edit access, change the mode, families or independent permissions, then Save access. | Membership remains with the new scope. |
| Collaborator: leave the project | Project settings → Leave project… and confirm Leave project. | Your account loses membership; the owner's project remains. |
After closing public access, check the URL in a signed-out browser. After removing or leaving, check the account's shared-project list. Removing one member does not remove other members or close public viewing. Closing public viewing does not remove members.
Downloaded PDFs and files remain with their recipients. Closing public access also makes a Title sheet's QR destination unavailable, but does not erase the printed code.
An estimate version link is separate from the project's public-view link. The current Versions interface has no revoke control for such a link; closing public project access does not revoke it. Decide what a version link may reveal before generating and sending it.
Project deletion is a different operation. See manage projects for the owner's project lifecycle.
