Set the first Level

Create a Ground floor Level at Project Zero, understand what it controls, and save it in your project.

A Level is a named height reference for building elements. Set Ground floor at 0 mm for this example. The Level itself does not create a floor slab.

  1. Open your project and select Levels in the left tool strip. Dravit switches to Front in 2D. The dashed Project Zero line marks the fixed 0 mm reference; the Level selector still says No levels.

The complete Cedar Court House editor in Front 2D before Level creation: Project Zero crosses the view, the Level selector says No levels, and the right panel offers Add level.
Project Zero is visible before any editable building Level exists.

  1. Select Add level in the right panel. Dravit creates Level 0 at 0 mm and selects it.
  2. In Label, enter Ground floor and press Enter. Leave Elevation from Project Zero (mm) at 0 for this example.
  3. Select Save (the disk icon in the top toolbar).

Ground floor now appears in the project tree and the active Level selector. Saved v2 confirms the change was saved; reopening the project shows Loaded v2. The orange Level line and the dashed Project Zero reference coincide at 0 mm, but only the Level is editable.

The complete Cedar Court House editor in Front 2D after saving: Ground floor is selected at 0 mm, the tree and active Level selector show its name, Project Zero remains visible, and the status reads Saved v2.
Ground floor is a saved editable Level at the Project Zero elevation.
