Read the estimate as a priced subset of the saved model, with stated assumptions and gaps. A visible total can still omit substantial work.
| Summary | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Elements | Model elements represented by the calculated estimate. This is not a count of priced table rows or everything in the project. |
| Net total | The counted row subtotals before the project allowances. |
| With allowances | The total after the percentage allowances. |
| Open issues | Missing prices and unresolved model/scope issues. See what they are leads to their explanation. |
| Prices for | The location and original pricing currency of this result. Converted totals identify their exchange rate and date. |
Read a row from left to right
In controls whether the row counts; the section's switch controls that section's rows together. An excluded row stays visible and dimmed. Manual lines use their own removal action.
Item identifies the finished element or assumption. A number such as 7× groups matching model elements. assumed means the work was inferred from the building rather than explicitly drawn. Where a Room list is available, expand it to see contributing Room quantities and approximate allocated costs.
Quantity and Unit describe the priced amount. nr means number of items; m, m2, m3, kg and h mean length, area, volume, mass and hours. When a waste addition appears, the smaller note separates measured quantity and the percentage added. unverified norm flags a consumption figure that needs review.
Price is the finished-element rate per unit. project price identifies a project rate; regional guide identifies a rate from the regional catalogue. Subtotal multiplies the counted quantity by that rate. Set price marks an absent rate; its zero subtotal is an omission, not evidence that the work is free.
Range shows a lower-to-upper amount where rate bounds exist. wide market flags a broad spread. This range is an indicative price spread, not a probability or guarantee for the final project cost.
Read Gaps in this estimate before comparing totals. Decorations, furniture and other unsupported work may remain outside pricing. A calculation does not supply a contractor's offer or an engineering validation. Use Versions for a fixed calculated version; compare its totals, including the current allowance limitation, before sharing.
